Being stuck at home isn't all bad when you have a streaming subscription (or two, or three, or four). Our staff is taking advantage of self isolation by catching up or starting totally new binge-worthy shows, series, and movies. Check out our recommendations below: 

Shows & Series 

Derry Girls - A British dramedy that follows the highs and lows of young women growing up in Northern Ireland during the 1990s. Now streaming on Netflix.

Falling for a Killer - This docu-series tells the story of serial killer Ted Bundy through a feminst lens, focusing on interviews with survivors, victims' female family members and friends, and the experience of his long-time girlfriend and her daughter. Now streaming on Amazon Prime. 

Grey's Anatomy - A medical drama that focuses on the professions, and often entangled lives, of health care providers at Seattle Grace Mercy West Hospital. Now streaming on Netflix. 

Gilmore Girls - Wouldn't we all love to live in Stars Hollow, where the most trying part of your day is keeping up with Lorelei's pop culture references. Panther Funds are not accepted at Luke's Diner. Now streaming on Netflix. 

Killer Inside - The Mind of Aaron Hernandez - Should we hate the player or hate the game? I don't even like sports, but stayed up way too late watching this. Now streaming on Netflix. 

McMillions - Did you chalk up your failure to win $1 million in McDonald's Monopoly to bad luck? It turns out a supersized sinister plot might have been afoot. Now streaming on Amazon Prime. 

90 Day Fiance (and all the spin-off shows) - Americans fall in love with people abroad, file for a K1 visa, and bring them to the U.S., where they must get married in 90 days or face separation and deportation. Now streaming on Hulu.

Say Yes to the Dress - Watch soon-to-be brides and their families fall in love with their dream dresses while simultaneously creating your own "Dream Wedding" board on Pinterest. Now streaming on Hulu. 

That 70's Show - Five teenage friends spend the bulk of their time hanging out in their parent's basement. While the teens rarely practice social distancing, this show provides a light-hearted take on what it was like to grow up in 1970's America. Now streaming on Netflix. 

The Marvelous Ms. Maisel - A former housewife breaks traditional gender norms by pursuing a career in comedy. Now streaming on Amazon Prime. 

The Office - A mockumentary featuring typical office workers with exaggerated (but mostly loveable) personalities who complete very little work. Now streaming on Netflix. 

Must-Watch Movies 

American Factory - A documentary that follows the lives of blue-collar Americans who begin working at a manufacturing plant in Dayton, Ohio that is largely controlled by foreign influences. Now streaming on Hulu. 

Drive - Driver, clad in an iconic scorpion jacket that is sure to inspire your next Halloween costume, is a stuntman, for-higher getaway driver, and much more! Now streaming on Netflix.

Legally Blonde - Elle Woods, an early 2000s fashion inspo to us all, conquers gender and cultural stereotypes in pursuing a legal career. Now streaming on Hulu.

To All the Boys I Loved Before - This movie is told through the lens of a young woman who mistakenly sends love letters to all of her crushes, while simultaneously taking a deep-dive into the most awkward and occasionally painful phase in all of our lives, adolescence. Now streaming on Netflix. 

The Other Guys - A dramedy that follows the lives of cops who have to prove that they have what it takes to be taken seriously in their profession. Now streaming on Netflix.
